Welcome to Nezu Biotech, a company I founded in January 2025 in Heidelberg as a spin-off from the University of Heidelberg. The name “Nezu” comes from a district in Tokyo where I once lived and felt deeply inspired.

I hold a PhD from Berlin and have worked across Germany, Brazil, Japan, and the United States for more than 20 years in bioinformatics, AI, and statistics. During this time, I published dozens of articles in top academic journals and collaborated with experts from diverse fields. These experiences shaped my belief that cultural and professional diversity is essential for solving the complex challenges in biology and medicine today.

At Nezu, we focus on data analysis in biological and medical research. We develop and apply advanced AI models and statistical techniques to help our clients in academia, industry, and the public sector make better decisions.
